Featured Boat: Own Mystic’s 2019 C3800 ‘Year In Review’ Model

Earlier this week, while working on the Speed On The Water 2019 Year In Review print magazine, which you can order here, I reached out to Marine Unlimited general manager Bernie Neuhaus to get some information on the Mystic Powerboats C3800 catamaran powered by twin Mercury Racing Verado 400R engines that the Toms River, N.J.-based dealership and service center campaigned as its demo boat this year.

The boat, which is one of two Mystics being featured in the fifth annual Year In Review coming out next month, was one of several catamarans built by the DeLand, Fla., company, and arguably the prettiest of the bunch. Fortunately speedonthewater.com chief photographer got some great photos of Neuhaus running the beautiful boat at the Jacksonville River Rally and Poker Run in May. To my surprise, Neuhaus said the C3800 is still available unlike the Mystic M4200 luxury performance center console—the other Mystic we’re featuring in the print magazine—that Boden shot in Key West, Fla., in November.

According to Neuhaus, Marine Unlimited is currently offering a year-end price reduction of $10,000 on the 38-foot cat, which is priced to sell at $429,000 with a custom MYCO Trailers aluminum triple-axle trailer.

Custom painted by Doug Harrell Designs, the C3800 offers 2+2+2 seating, giving everyone excellent wind protection and great visibility. The boat’s supercharged 400-hp engines have approximately 35 demo hours on them. Described by Neuhaus as a true offshore performance outboard catamaran—the Bentley of the market, he added—the boat is loaded with features and options such as a huge JL Audio sound system, a 22-inch Garmin display, dual helm hydraulic steering, dual Mercury SmartCraft VesselView monitors, full RGB lighting package, Seadek flooring and more.

Price is $429,000, and financing is available with all trades considered.
