With the last week’s Super Boat International Key West Offshore World Championships behind him and his new Skater Powerboats 388 raceboat in the painting process, Stihl team owner and driver J.R. Noble is officially putting his current raceboat up for sale. Known for its exceptional speed, the 38-foot canopied Skater catamaran earned SBI National Championships in 2011, 2013 and 2014.

Twin Frank McComas built 750-hp engines with Mercury Racing No. 6 drives power the canopied 38-footer.

“The boat is being offered as is—fully rigged—on a tilt trailer built by Skater,” said Noble, who added that while he’s looking forward to racing in his new cat he’ll miss his current one. “But if a buyer wants, he can purchase the boat without the engines and propellers.”

Given the with/without engines and propellers options, Noble said he will discuss specific pricing with serious buyers who can reach him via email, jr@stihlse.com.
