Stinson Named Brokerage Sales Manager for Campisano Marine

Based in Brick, N.J., Campisano Marine has hired industry veteran Sean Stinson as its new brokerage sales manager. With more than 20 years of experience in the powerboat world, including working as a sales manager for Dick Simon Marine in Dana Pont, Calif., Stinson will handle new and pre-owned model sales including in from go-fast boats and yachts to personal watercraft and center consoles.

“In his new role as sales manager, Sean will be responsible for obtaining new listings as well as making our clients happy with strong sales,” said Joe Campisano, the owner of the company, in a press release. “His proven results-oriented approach and ability to think outside the box will play a pivotal role in growing our boat and brokerage sales department.”

Stinson described himself as “electrified” by the opportunity.

“I’m excited about this because Joe has such a good barometer for the industry because he also writes insurance for so many of these boats,” Stinson said in telephone interview this evening. “Both of us think the economy is taking a turn for the better. After Hurricane Sandy, people will have insurance checks to replace the boats they lost, and while they might not be enough for a new boat we may be able to hook them up with a used boat they love.”
