Summer Demo Tour On Tap For Cigarette 41 Nighthawk

Participants in the upcoming 2020 Cigarette Owners Rendezvous next month on the Lake of the Ozarks in Central Missouri will get a firsthand look at the new 41 Nighthawk from Cigarette Racing Team. One of four models in the Opa-Locka, Fla., boat builder’s HyperLux series, the center console debuted at the Miami International Boat Show in February and ran in the Florida Powerboat Club Miami Boat Show Poker Run the following weekend.

Now, thanks to Performance Boat Center, which carries the Cigarette brand and hosts the annual Cigarette Owners Rendezvous, the 41-footer will be getting some western exposure.

“We have partnered with Skip Braver of Cigarette to bring the 41 Nighthawk here and get it in front of a national audience,” said Brett Manire, who co-owns the full-service multi-brand dealership in Osage Beach, Mo., with Mark Waddington. “It’s an amazing boat and people really need to see and experience it in person.”

Manire will run the 41 Nighthawk, which is powered by four Mercury Racing 450R outboard engines, in the rendezvous. And that’s just the beginning, he said.

“We want to take it to poker runs and other events—and not just those on the Lake of the Ozarks,” he said. “We’re planning to run and display at events around the country this season.”
