Sunday Fun Day: Mike Yowaiski

For me, a perfect “Sunday Fun Day” is taking our 32-foot Concept center console to one of the great restaurants on the Chesapeake Bay or rafting up with friends. The day usually starts with breakfast from Sam’s Market. Then we head off to the boat to get it ready.

For Shannon and Mike Yowaiski the invitation for friends to join them for Sunday Fun Days on their 32-foot Concept center console is “always open.”

Two of our favorite places are Skipper’s Pier and Lowe’s Wharf. Skipper’s has a great dock bar and amazing food. Lowe’s Wharf is a bar tucked away on the eastern shore of Maryland with awesome sunsets and owners. The invitation is always open to friends.

We also enjoy raft-ups on one of many creeks and rivers off the bay. There is nothing like a day of relaxing and swimming with friends. In general, any Sunday (or other day) I am on the water is perfect.

To quote Kenneth Grahame, “There is nothing—absolutely nothing—half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats.”
