Sunsation Announces New 39 CCX in Miami

Along with three of the company’s models—a 28 SSR, a 29 CCX and a 34 CCX—on display inside the Miami Beach Convention Center, Sunsation Boats has a newsworthy “movie poster” sitting in the Algonac, Mich., company’s booth.

Sunsation Boats announced its building a new 39 CCX model.

The news? A new 39 CCX (Center Cabin Extreme), which Sunsation’s Joe Schaldenbrand said will make its debut at next year’s Miami International Boat Show. The sibling of the company’s popular 29 CCX, 34 CCX models (as well as the soon-to-be-complete 32 CCX, the 39 CCX will feature a 10-foot beam and be available with triple- or quad-engine outboards.

“We’re really excited about the new 39,” said Schaldenbrand, who gave credit to John Potts and the American Performance Media crew for designing the creative display for the new 39 CCX. “A lot of our customers have been asking about a bigger center console and this should help meet that demand. I’ll tell you what, these center console models have just been a pleasure to sell.”

Although the boat is still being designed by Wayne Schaldenbrand—the other brother behind Sunsation—three customers have already placed an order for the 39-footer.
