Team Abu Dhabi MTI Raceboat Headed to Port

There’s not a lot of news to add to last Friday’s story (see MTI Tests New Abu Dhabi Class 1 Raceboat), but this image of Team Abu Dhabi’s new 48-foot Marine Technology Inc. catamaran and the accompanying hauler and support trailer was definitely worth sharing this afternoon.

According to Tim Gallagher, MTI’s sales and marketing manager who shared the image with speedonthewater.com, the boat, which was painted at MTI, and its accompanying wrapped-to-match vehicles are complete and headed to a port in Jacksonville, Fla., where they will be shipped to Barcelona, Spain for the Class 1 World Championship race in Ibiza in early September.
