Big Thunder Marine Expanding Its Lake Of The Ozarks Footprint

A thriving Fountain, Donzi, Baja and Statement dealer at the Lake of the Ozarks in Central Missouri, Big Thunder Marine is about to get even bigger. The full-service, Osage Beach-headquartered dealership is taking over the former Lakeport Marina facility at Mile Marker 19 on the shores of the popular waterway.

Big Thunder Marine has added a new waterfront location at the Lake of the Ozarks.

The new waterfront facility is called Big Thunder At Grand Glaize. In advance of the summer boating season, slip rental already is available and the location is fully operational. Future additions will include a fuel dock and a marine store.

And that’s just the beginning of what Fred Ross said will be “our centerpiece for speed and performance at the Lake of the Ozarks.”

“We are working on its design, and there’s more to come,” he said.

With Dog Days Restaurant as its ever-popular next door neighbor, Big Thunder At Grand Glaize is in a prime location at the waterway. But it is far from finished—the Big Thunder Marine team is just getting started.

“It’s going to be great—it’s right in the middle of everything,” said Jeremy Anderson, the dealership’s general manager. “There’s a marina, a launch ramp, docks, showers and more. Everything is turnkey to be open right away, but that’s not the long-term plan. This just gets us open there this year.”
