Countdown to Miami: Connect With The Hookcups

The team behind The Hookcups—the relatively new raft-up-assisting product that was featured in The Year’s Best section of the Speed On The Water 2021 Year In Review magazine—is going to be showcasing its super-engineered device at this week’s Miami International Boat Show, which opens this Wednesday. Now’s your chance to get an up-close look at the patent-pending technology that’s been reengineered and updated from founder Steven Gonzales’ original design, which generated an impressive numbers of views of a speedonthewater.com story in March 2021.

Randy Vanberg, managing director of the Southern California-based company, said he is excited to be joining Gonzales at the Miami Beach Convention Center to show off what he describes as the fastest and safest way to connect boats. They are going to be located in booth HP138.

And based on social media posts, Gonzales, Vanberg and the rest of The Hookcups crew already enjoyed themselves at the Association of Marina Industries Conference & Expo in Daytona Beach, Fla., at the beginning of the month and are excited to be part of their first Miami International Boat Show.

“We’re going to Miami—where the heat is on and the party is just getting started,” the latest Hookcups post exclaimed.
