DCB Gearing Up For Cumberland Poker Run, Lake Powell Challenge And Regatta

For Tony Chiaramonte, Jeff Johnston and the rest of the crew at DCB Performance Boats in El Cajon, Calif., today’s holiday is a moment of calm before an upcoming storm. Coming off Super Cat Fest and the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout in Central Missouri, the DCB team members are already looking ahead to the next weekend’s Lake Cumberland Poker Run in Kentucky followed by the Lake Powell Challenge Sept 14-17 in Arizona and the annual DCB Owners Rendezvous in Lake Havasu City, Ariz.

Sure to be picture perfect, a healthy fleet of DCB Performance Boats catamarans is coming to next weekend’s Lake Powell Challenge.

“We have four or five or customers going to Cumberland so we’ll be there to support them,” said Johnston. “And we have 22 boats registered for the Lake Powell Challenge, and DCB is one of the majors sponsors of that event.”

Johnston said he expects 60 boats to participate in the DCB owners event, which will be headquartered again at the Nautical Inn.

“With everything—registration, parties, banquet—under one roof at the Nautical as usual,” he said. “That makes it easier for everyone. People can stay wherever they like, but it’s definitely nice to have it all under one roof.”

DCB also is a sponsor for the Monster Storm Poker Run Oct. 12-14, as well as the new Swoop Motorsports Rock The Docks event Oct. 20-21, both of which will be held on Lake Havasu.
