Fort Myers Beach Fundraiser: Key West Bash ‘Racing To Rebuild’ Shirts Available

If you’ve been following speedonthewater.com lately, you probably know this year’s Speed On The Water Key West Bash presented by CMR Construction and Roofing, which is less than three weeks away, is going to be quite the party. Not only are we raising money once again for Samuel’s House, the nonprofit organization in Key West, Fla., that provides shelter for women, children and intact families in a safe and sober setting, we’re upping the ante for the November 10 celebration that takes place from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Sandbar Sports Grill on Greene Street by raising money for the community of Fort Myers Beach, Fla., which was devastated by Hurricane Ian earlier this month.

You can pre-order a Racing to Rebuild-themed 2022 Key West Bash shirt or tank top from the speedonthewater.com online store.

In addition to various donations and auction items that are expected to bring in several thousand dollars for the Fort Myers Beach Women’s Club and the Fort Myers Beach Community Foundation—the two nonprofit organizations have teamed up for their community through their #WeAreFMB Resilient fund—we are selling T-shirts and racerback-style tank tops featuring the 2022 Key West Bash party theme, Racing To Rebuild.

Of course we are going to be selling the shirts, which have been designed and produced by our longtime speedonthewater.com merchandise fulfillment company, Grow Marketing LLC, at the bash with all of the proceeds going to the #WeAreFMB Resilient fund, but they’re also available in our online store for those who can’t make it to Key West this year but still want to help support the cause and get a nice T-shirt or tank top.

Speedonthewater.com is going to donate its proceeds from the online sales to the fund so please step up and order some shirts for your family and friends. Not only can you get a quality shirt, but you can take pride in knowing that your money is going to an incredible cause. If you’re interested in donating directly to the nonprofit groups, they are currently taking donations on the websites above.

Though Fort Myers Beach will never be the same, it can be rebuilt and maybe even come back better. But it’s going to take a lot of outside help—and making the most of every penny donated.
