Gallery Of The Week: Crypto Boat-And-Truck Combo

With all the buzz surrounding the new Crypto Outerlimits Offshore Powerboats SV 43 sportboat and the speedonthewater.com story on the project that went live yesterday, we opted to save all but one of the photos of the remarkable 43-footer with its color-matched, customized SportChassis Freightliner hauler for today. We didn’t want you to experience sensory overload—we’re thoughtful that way.

As noted in yesterday’s feature about the boat, the boat-and-truck graphics combo was a first for painter Stephen Miles and his crew at Stephen Miles Design in Owensboro, Ky. And Miles was delighted to tackle the project.

“It was as much of a pain in the butt to paint as the boat,” he said, then laughed. “I’m joking, of course, but that truck was really really tall.”

From any angle, the Crypto boat-and-truck pairing is breathtaking.

Par for the ultra-custom course, the Crypto SV 43 rides on a custom-built and color-matched MYCO trailer.

“The truck originally was all red before it went to Stephen Miles Design,” said Dan Kleitz of Outerlimits, which is based in Bristol, R.I. “And they had a storage box for poker run gear and such custom-built on the back of the rig.”
