Howe 2 Live Dry Tortugas Experience Up For Grabs At Key West Bash Auction

You better believe it. Along with four incredible poker run experiences, three exclusive Key West, Fla.-based offshore racing experiences with the CMR, M CON and TS Motorsports teams, and a custom-painted skateboard and shot-ski from the crew at Stephen Miles Design, next week’s annual Speed On The Water Key West Bash presented by CMR Construction and Roofing is going to include the most unique “experience” auction item in the party’s history—the chance to spend a day with Howe 2 Live personalities Mike and Sarah Howe and be part of one of their 2023 adventure episodes.

That’s right, the adventure-seeking, storytelling, full-of-life performance boaters behind the Howe 2 Live adventure lifestyle videos that rack up hundreds of thousands of view on their YouTube and social media channels are offering the chance to run with them—on a to-be-determined date in spring 2023— to the Dry Tortugas for a day in their new-model MTI 440X catamaran, which they’ll be taking delivery of early next year. All you have to do is join us next Thursday, November 10, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., at the Sandbar Sports Grill and bid high for the opportunity for you and a person of your choosing to join the Howes, and several of their performance boating friends, for a once-in-a-lifetime journey from Key West to Dry Tortugas National Park and the historic Fort Jefferson.

As you likely know, this year’s charity-driven Key West Bash, which has a “Racing To Rebuild” theme and food provided by Wozencraft Insurance, is going to benefit the event’s longstanding charity—Key West-based Samuel’s House—as well as raise money for the Hurricane Ian recovery efforts in Fort Myers Beach under the #WeAreFMB Resilient fund organized by the Fort Myers Beach Women’s Club and the Fort Myers Beach Community Foundation.

On top of enjoying raceboat displays, purchasing event T-shirts and raffle tickets, and sharing libations with hundreds of like-minded boaters as well as powerboat luminaries, such as Mystic’s John Cosker, MTI’s Randy Scism, world champion throttlemen Grant Bruggemann, Steve Curtis and John Tomlinson, and two-time F1H2O world champion Shaun Torrente, you can come to the party and meet the Howes, who are going to be passing out shirts and hats, and maybe even signing autographs.

“Sarah and I are excited to be a part of this year’s Key West Bash and happy to be able to help give back through such an extraordinary event,” said Mike Howe, who didn’t hesitate to offer up the daytrip “video shoot” and put together a short promo video (watch it here or above) about the opportunity when asked if he’d like to donate an “experience” for this year’s bash. “We hope to meet everyone there—it’s going to be an incredible night and an incredible week.”

He’s right—it’s going to be an incredible evening. And there’s one thing I do know, I do not have the coin to keep up with the bidding I expect to take place for the experience to hang with the famous “YouTubers,” whom I had the pleasure of interviewing for the cover story for the Speed On the Water 2022 Interview Issue digital magazine that came out several months ago. So, let me be the first to congratulate whoever comes home with the Howe 2 Live Dry Tortugas daytrip; an experience they will never forget that will be viewed by millions.
