Image Of The Week: Air Nor-Tech, Air Lemanske

Straight out of Michigan, Bill and Lori Lemanske are among the most stalwart members of Fort Myers Offshore, the Southwest Florida-based nonprofit organization that raises secondary education scholarship funds. They’re a constant presence at Fort Myers Offshore happenings and one of the most engaging, inclusive and downright fun couples you’re likely to meet in the go-fast boating world.

They’re also no strangers to rough water and not afraid to take on sporty conditions in their Nor-Tech 390 Sport Center console. After all, for three months a year, Lake Michigan is their home water and—in an eyeblink—that lake can turn from flat to ferocious. They’re not afraid to push hard when the spirit moves them.

Case in point? Last Sunday’s Fort Myers Offshore Burnt Store Fun Run, which delivered frothy conditions for the final leg of the run between the Sanibel Island Bridge and Cass Cay. Look closely at the image above and you can see even Lori Lemanske smiling, though to be fair that’s her default expression regardless of circumstances.

She had even more to grin about once they reached the lunch venue, as she took home $710 thanks to the event’s 50-50 raffle. We can only hope she was able to keep the money dry during return leg of the trip.
