Image Of The Week: Miss GEICO Rides Again

Visitors to the New York Boat Show, which closes today, caught something unique during the annual event. In collaboration with the Miss GEICO offshore racing team, Paul Teutel, Sr., of the Discovery Channel “Orange County Choppers” reality television show—and the founder of the same-named shop around which the original series was based—built a Miss GEICO-themed, 300-hp custom motorcycle that complimented the team’s raceboat display at the New York event.

Almost highway ready, Gary Goodell (right) and Paul “Senior” shared a moment with the custom-built, Miss GEICO themed chopper (click image for full frame).

The story of the build will air on a future episode of “American Chopper” show on the Discovery Channel. (The specific airdate has not been announced.)

“There’s no way anyone my age should get anywhere near a motorcycle like this,” said Gary Goodell, one on the partners in the Miss GEICO team, with a laugh. “But the whole project was a lot of fun, and the weekend at the New York Boat Show was great.”
