Growing up in Ohio with Lake Erie in her backyard, Cyndee Hill, the 48-year-old vice president of Fort Myers Offshore in Southwest Florida (above, left), learned to fish with grandparents. Her first exposure to powerboats was of the fishing kind, and she instantly loved being on the water. Eventually she moved to the Sunshine State where she met Tim Hill (center), the current president of the nonprofit trade-school and college scholarship fundraising organization. After dating for three years, they married in 2017— but not before Tim took her to the offshore world championships in Key West, Fla. Right away, she was hooked on the sport. So, when it came time to help her husband produce Roar Offshore Fort Myers Beach, the 2019 APBA Offshore Championship Series season finale, she was all in—and is again this year.

Tim and I joined seven years ago when we had our Formula FAS3Tech—we had a Fountain 35 Lightning before that and now we own a Sunsation 32 CCX— and we loved it. From there, I became a board member and I’ve since taken over apparel ordering and sales at events.

Yes. We own a credit card payment solutions business called Card Payment Solutions Gulf Coast and Gulf Coast Garage Works, which builds custom cabinets.
