Marine Partner Network To Handle European Sales For Mystic and Outerlimits

Led by marine industry veteran Alfred Zurhausen, Gelsenkirchen, Germany-based Marine Partner Network is representing Mystic Powerboats of DeLand, Fla., and Outerlimits Offshore Powerboats of Bristol, R.I., for sales in Europe. Zurhausen, who parted ways with Cigarette Racing Team as it German dealer after a 10-year run, said he’s excited to be representing two complimentary brands with a broad range of products from luxury performance center to consoles to brawny V-bottom sportboats.

“I am thrilled to be the official dealer for Outerlimits and Mystic now,” he said. “I am extremely happy with both brands.”

The team at Outerlimits is equally excited about the new relationship. The Marine Partner Network is the company’s first dedicated European dealer.

“We are honored to be working with Alfred Zurhausen of Marine Partner Network as our new German dealer,” said Dan Kleitz, Outerlimits’ national sales manager. “Alfred has a long history with Formula and Cigarette, which will help expand the Outerlimits brand throughout Europe.

“Alfred and his top mechanic Andre are true dedicated high performance boaters,” he added. “That’s why they are a perfect fit to represent Outerlimits Offshore Powerboats overseas. Once his clients get to experience our product I feel they will be more than impressed.”

Mystic Powerboats owner and founder John Cosker met Zurhausen through Mark Belisle, another well-known figure in the high-performance marine industry.

“We started working with Mark last November at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show,” said Cosker. “He was Cigarette’s international sales director for 15 years. Mark introduced us to Alfred and he became our European dealer just after the Miami Boat Show this year.

“He’s our first European dealer and they’ve already ordered two boats,” he added. “So it’s a great start.”

Earlier this year, Zurhausen visited Outerlimits—and experienced a few of its products—at its home in Rhode Island.
