MTI Fall Run To Lead Trio Of 2020-2021 Owner Events

Working in collaboration with Performance Boat Center of Osage Beach, Mo., MTI is producing a new Fall Fun Run on Friday, September 25, for its high-performance center console and catamaran owners. Approximately 15 MTI owners have signed up so far for the Lake of the Ozarks happening, which will be based out of the multi-brand dealership’s waterfront location, according the Wentzville, Mo., boat company’s Taylor Scism.

“Performance Boat Center is such a good dealership and our customers love them, as we do,” she said. “Several of our customers left their boats with PBC after the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout so they could participate in our event later this month. Their service is fantastic—one of our customers broke a prop-shaft during the Shootout week. The guys at Performance Boat Center had them back on the water in two hours.

“September is good month for this event because the lake is a little quieter, we still have some good weather—it’s not brutally hot but it’s also not cold—and most of the waterfront places are still open,” he continued. “September is my favorite month here.”

MTI’s November owners event will be based out of Marathon and will include treks to Key West for interested participants.

The Lake of the Ozarks run will begin and end at Performance Boat Center, with three stops during the day. As with all MTI owner-exclusive events, participants can register—at no charge—for the run through the private owners pagers on the MTI website.

Set for November 11-15, another fleet of MTI-organized owners will head to the Faro Blanco Resort and Yacht Club in Marathon, Fla. From there, participants will be able group-up for day trips to Key West or simply stay put at the property and make shorter treks north and south.

“We love the Florida Powerboat Club’s Key West Poker Run but we’re just not sure what Key West will be like then,” said Scism. “So we’re going to base ourselves out of Marathon and, for those who want to, make day trips to Key West.”

MTI owners will return to the Florida Keys in March—more specifically to the Hawk’s Cay Resort on Duck Key—for the company’s sixth annual trip to the area. More information on that event will be able available in the near future on the Private Owners Page of the MTI website.

The sixth annual MTI Owners Fun Run to Florida Keys will depart from Haulover Marine Center in North Miami for the famed Hawk’s Cay Resort on Duck Key.
