Not So Calm Before the Storm
The Desert Storm Poker Run in Lake Havasu City, Ariz., kicks off in exactly two weeks with the Krusin’ For Kids charity powerboat rides on Wednesday, April 22. Along with participating in and sponsoring Krusin’ For Kids and the entire event, which includes a massive street party on Thursday and a top-speed shootout the day after Friday’s poker run, Bob Teague and the crew at Teague Custom Marine have played an enormous role in the poker run since its inception.
The talented team at Teague Custom Marine is currently working on a 42-foot cat from MTI (left) and a 43-foot V-bottom from Outerlimits.
The Valencia, Calif., company’s customers have been a big part of Desert Storm as well, and this year will be no different as Teague and company are extremely busy getting equipment ready for the event. While TCM isn’t the only high-performance shop cranking on boats so they can participate in the biggest go-fast boating event on the West Coast, good luck finding one that has more boats on site.
