Performance Boat Center Opens Spring Fun Run Registration Online
Known for its marquee happenings such as the annual Cigarette Owners Rendezvous, the Outboard Only Fun Run and the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout Welcome Celebration, Performance Boat Center in Osage Beach, Mo., also produces more-casual events each year. The first of these—the Spring Fun Run—is set for Saturday, May 14.

A new feature, online registration for the event, opened this morning. (There is no sign-up fee.) In fact, Performance Boat Center has moved registration for all its events online.
“I expect no less than 50 or 60 boats to participate,” said Brett Manire, who will be back Florida this week following the Miami International Boat Show to support customers participating in this weekend’s Florida Powerboat Club Miami Boat Show Poker Run. “Online registration will help our entire team, help us plan much better and take the load off our staff answering calls from people who want to sign up.”

In 2021, the run attracted more than 50 entries and saw more several new-boat deliveries. Among those was a sizzling Cigarette Racing Team 41 Nighthawk—Performance Boat Center is a Cigarette, MTI, Sunsation Boats and Wright Performance dealer—that went to the Super Cat-class M CON offshore racing team owners Tyler and Lindsey Miller.
Online registration for the 2022 Cigarette Owners Rendezvous (June 16-19) and the Outboard Only Fun Run (July 22) also is open.
