Seeds Of An Ultimate Boys Trip

Traci Seeds of Cincinnati could be one of the coolest women on the planet. At the very least, she’s as understanding and downright tolerant as they come.

Combine four good friends, one brand-new Cigarette sportboat and three days in the Florida Key and you have the recipe for an epic adventure (click image to enlarge).

How do I—having never met Traci Seeds—know this? She let her husband, Gary, bail last weekend with his friends Carl Marotzke, Phil Sousa, Bill Blaxton and Corey Duke for a four-day trip to Miami and the Florida Keys.

For those of you who may have missed it and now find yourselves in deep yogurt, last Sunday was Mother’s Day, not the best day to leave a mom of three grown children home alone.

But boys trips to the Florida Keys are tradition for Gary Seeds—that’s how he’s celebrated his past two new sportboats from Cigarette Racing Team. And as it happened, X-Factor², his new 42X V-bottom powered by dual calibration Mercury Racing 1350/1100 was ready for pickup last Friday. So seeds and company headed south last weekend to take delivery of the 42-footer and run it to the Hawk’s Cay Resort on Duck Key.
