Sneak Peek: Inside The First Outerlimits SC 37 Catamaran

During yesterday’s delivery of the first Outerlimits Offshore Powerboats SC 37 catamaran to its Connecticut-based owner, Dan Kleitz—the Bristol, R.I., company’s longtime lead salesman—managed to grab a couple of iPhone pictures of the boat’s cockpit. Kleitz, who was supposed to make it to the Lake Champlain Poker Run today in Vermont but had to pass to make the delivery of the twin Mercury Racing 450R engine-powered 37-footer, sent them our way.

The dash setup for the 37-footer is ultra-clean uncluttered.

And now we bring them to you.

Outerlimits tasked Ryan Schwarzen of nearby Kutting Edge Interiors (not to be confused with Florida-based Cutting Interiors owned and operated by Jamie Borg) for the boat’s six-seat cockpit. At the dash, the Outerlimits crew installed two Mercury VesselView monitors flanking a 22-inch Garmin GPS unit.

For access from the cockpit to the rear deck and transom, the builder created molded steps finished with Seadek in the center of the four-position bench.

“Ryan has been doing all of our stuff for years,” Kleitz said. “The interior features adjustable front seats with flip-up bottom cushions, LED lighting, SeaDek flooring and billet aluminum accent pieces. And the upholstery has custom CNC stitching.”

“These photos aren’t great but we’ll have a full photo shoot of the SC 37 done in the near future, “ he added. “In the meantime, I thought people might enjoy a sneak peek.”

Outerlimits SC 37 catamaran No. 1 was delivered yesterday.
