Speedonthewater.com Approved for Google News

Late yesterday evening Jason Johnson, my co-publisher at Speedonthewater.com, and I learned that our application to be included in Google News had been approved. We are honored to join Google’s stream that includes content from media outlets including the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times and Sports Illustrated. We are thrilled, honored and humbled to be part of the online content stream of the world’s largest search engine.

Speedonthwater.com covers the high-performance powerboat world seven days a week. In addition to daily news stories and features, we produce a bi-monthly digital magazine and a collectible Year In Review print edition. The print magazine started at 132 pages in 2015, grew to 164 pages in 2016 and will expand to 196 pages for 2017. Since Aug. 24, 2016, speedonthewater.com has received more than 1.2 million sessions and 2-plus-million page views.
