Waves And Wheels To Host Shootout Open House Next Thursday

Although he and his team already have a huge presence as the longstanding presenting sponsor of the Shootout On The Strip display along Bagnell Dam Boulevard on Wednesday during the annual Lake of the Ozarks Shootout in Central Missouri, Waves and Wheels owner Justin Wagner is planning an open house at The Boardwalk at Waves and Wheels in Osage Beach on Thursday afternoon (August 26) from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

According to Wagner, who is hoping his new docks will be installed in time for the open house, Waves and Wheels is going to provide a free barbecue lunch catered by Wobbly Boots Roadhouse along with a bar, music and other entertainment. Of course, there will be several custom Waves and Wheels projects on display along with plenty of parking for those coming by land or water.

“We’re going to have an assortment of projects on display that showcase our expertise as well as our range of different packages we offer,” said Wagner, who added that he already has several docks girls scheduled to help accommodate people rafting up if the Boardwalk’s new docks aren’t installed before then. “This is a great opportunity to show how well-rounded we are. We’ll have different styles of boats from center consoles to pontoons to performance boats from MTI, Skater Powerboats, Outerlimits Offshore Powerboats and Black Thunder Powerboats for people to look at and see how simple or how custom we can get with their boats. We’ll even have some UTVs and a new custom SuperTrucks International HV 4×4 on display.

“We want to make it like a boat show where people can demo ride a boat, except with this people can demo our products,” he continued. “They can come feel and see our interiors in person, and check out the custom fabrications we’ve done, and get a better feel for what options there are for our sound systems. They’ll be able to walk onto a boat and experience what we do firsthand, instead of seeing it on Facebook.”

Wagner laughed and then added that he plans to have the completed Scalp Hunter Apache Powerboats V-bottom on display as the extensive project is going to be unveiled the day before at the Shootout On The Strip. Look for a project update story on Scalp Hunter early next week on speedonthewater.com.

He also said that facility tours will be available as well as merchandise in the company showroom, which is almost back to normal following last summer’s fire at the property.
