Year In Review Sneak Peek: Digging The Mystic Blues

Though we’re in the thick of pre-press production, photo collection for the 2021 Speed On The Water Year In Review issue began a little almost 12 months ago with the 10th annual Joey Gratton Memorial New Year’s Day Fun Run and continued this week with last weekend’s Toys Tour event. And we still have images coming in from the likes of Cigarette Racing Team and more. No matter how methodically we plan and execute this 196-page printed beauty each year, we need every second of time we have before the digital layouts for the magazine head for the printer.

If you want to celebrate the world’s finest high-performance boats at a fraction of the cost, order the 2021 Speed On The Water Year In Review issue today. Photo by Pete Boden copyright Shoot 2 Thrill Pix.

A November photo shoot in Key West, Fla., is always part of the plan and this year—as previously reported on speedonthewater.com—was no exception. During two separate photo sessions, speedonthewater.com chief photographer Pete Boden and contributing photographer Jeff Helmkamp captured many of the images you’ll find in the “Boats” section of the upcoming issue. Among them is the Pete Boden photo above of a Mystic Powerboats M3800—with its underwater LED lighting system engaged—flying across the beautiful waters of Key West.

A high-quality shot? Absolutely—but far from unusual for our Year In Review magazine because we pay the best photographers in the high-performance powerboat world to capture them.

And speaking of Year In Review, you have for more days to order it at the reduced $30 cover price. After December 15, the price rises to $35 per issue.

Both prices include shipping. After January, they do not.

Saving five bucks has never been easier. All you have to do is order now.
