Countdown to Miami: Florida Powerboat Club and Powerboatnation.com Team Up for Parties

High-performance powerboat lovers looking to party with some of their own in an “official” capacity during the 2013 Miami International Boat Show next month won’t lack for options thanks to the Florida Powerboat Club and Powerboatnation.com. The two outfits are teaming up this year for both Friday (Feb. 15) and Saturday (Feb. 16) celebrations.

On Friday night, the always well-attended annual FPC Miami Boat Show Party kicks off at 8 p.m. at its popular venue, the luxurious Raleigh Hotel at 1775 Collins Avenue. Open to FPC members and friends—and this year that also means members and friends of Powerboatnation.com—the party ends at midnight, But for those who want to keep it going, all the best hangouts of South Beach are a short stroll or cab ride away.

On Saturday, the repowered and reinvigorated Powerbonation.com kicks off its first event in collaboration with the FPC at Tequila Chicas in the courtyard of at 15th and Ocean on South Beach. Powerboatnation.com’s Brad Schoenwald is predicting a big turnout for the event, which also runs from 8 p.m. to midnight.

“Come prepared and come early to make sure you can get in,” says Schoenwald.

VIP party passes will be available at the Miami Boat Show from the Powerboatnation Girls and at the Florida Powerboat Club Booth.
