Countdown to Miami: Hustler Excited to Showcase New & Improved Models

The new 388 Reloaded will be one of three boats on display at the Hustler Powerboats booth in Miami.

With quite a few projects going on at the Hustler Powerboats shop in Calverton, N.Y., many of which have to be finished in time for the Miami International Boat Show, it’s not easy to get owner Joe LoGiudice on the phone unless you catch him at lunchtime, which was my strategy.

“We’re looking forward to the Miami show because we’re bringing a couple of pieces that are different than anything we’ve done before,” LoGiudice said from his office earlier this week. “Everything we’re going to have in the booth uses all the latest technology. From fly-by-wire controls to the Garmin interface, everything is going to be so nice.”

LoGiudice confirmed that Hustler will be displaying a 39 Rockit with twin Mercury Racing 1100 engines and the all-new 388 Reloaded with side-by-side Mercury Racing 565 engines. He added that the company plans to unveil another boat, which LoGiudice said could be a real game-changer. You’ll have to wait until the show opens to find out more.

Along with its three-boat display in booth No. 3122 just outside of the Miami Beach Convention Center, Hustler will have two boats—a 39-footer and a 50-footer—available for demo rides at the in-water portion of the show. You can contact the company today to schedule a ride.
