Formula Boats To Remain Closed Through April 30

Though the executives, management team and employees of Formula Boats had hoped to be back to work by April 7 after closing on March 25, the Decatur, Ind., facility will remain closed through April 30. Earlier today, Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb announced that his state-at-home order—originally set to expire next Monday, will be extended until May 1.

Though the Formula crew will not return to work in Decatur until early next month, some services will be remotely available for existing and would-be customers.

This afternoon, Formula issued the following statement through a press release:

“In this time of continued uncertainty, our highest priority is the welfare of our customers, dealers and Formula Team members. To comply with Indiana Governor Holcomb’s Stay-At-Home Order continuing through April 30, our Formula Boats headquarters and manufacturing facility will remain closed through April 30, with some office staff working remotely. We will assess which additional areas are essential to operation through the April 30 date.

“Our Technical Assistance Group will be available at support@formulaboats.com and (260) 724-1412. Customers will continue to be able to Build their Formula at Formulaboats.com and request a quote from our sales team.”
