Gallery Of The Week: DCB M37R Poses For Fittings

Since returning to work in early May after a forced eight-week shutdown, the crew at DCB Performance Boat has been busy catching up with new builds—and already has made one delivery. But the project most on the minds of DCB fans everywhere is the El Cajon, Calif., custom go-fast boat builder’s new M37R “true-tunnel” catamaran.

Progress continues on the new M37R catamaran from DCB Performance Boats.

Thanks to DCB president Jeff Johnston, we offer you a look at the 37-footer in its most current state.

Johnston captured these images of the M37R, which will be powered by twin Mercury Racing 450R outboard engines, during a couple of “fittings” for the cat—one for its new MYCO trailer two weeks ago, another for its windshield last week. And even in its plain white, unfinished state, the new model is a beauty.

Said Johnston, “We are blessed to be back to work. There are a lot of great things going on at DCB, including the new M37R. We look forward to getting it finished—and on the water where it belongs.”
