Gallery Of The Week: Outerlimits Dream Fleet
When it comes to brand loyalty, high-performance powerboat owners are truly tribal. And no tribe is more close-knit than that of Outerlimits Offshore Powerboats, which hosted its inaugural Outerlimits Factory Fun Run earlier this month in Bristol, R.I. The event attracted 32 boats, making it the largest gathering of Outerlimits models in one place at one time in the company’s 20-year history. Customers came from as close as Bristol and as far as Sweden.

From the upper deck of the Tipsy Seagull bar and grill at Borden Light Marina on the morning of the fun run, high-performance marine insurance man Devin Wozencraft and I surveyed the colorful fleet at the docks in awe. One Outerlimits is impressive, but 32 all tied up in close proximity borders on sensory overload.

And for locals strolling the docks, it was the boat show of a lifetime.
The fleet proved just as spectacular on the water during the lunch run to Newport, R.I. Even from my somewhat limited view inside Jet, an Outerlimits 46 SC catamaran owned by Michigan’s Burton Kirsten, the views of other Outerlimits models running side by side was simply outrageous.
The fun run fleet took over the waters of Rhode Island’s Narraganset Bay.
