Image of the Week: Small Stuff

This beauty of an image came from our friends Down Under—in particular photographer Russell Puckeridge from Pureart Creative Images—in the Australian V8 Superboat Championships as they headed into their fifth round of this season in Temora, New South Wales, last weekend. While we don’t yet have the results story for the weekend’s action from Australian Formula Jet Sprint Association’s Sean Henshelwood, he did send us a few “advance” photos from the last event. And we couldn’t resist this one.

We’re pretty sure that this sudden stuff-and-stop for Daryl Hutton and Scott Jones in the Total Lubricants Superboat Unlimited-class racer was a bit uncomfortable. But it couldn’t have been any worse than the muddy water dousing that surely followed.
