Live Now On Speedonthewater.com! Sharkey Images Teaser Video From OPA 2014 Nationals
Veteran offshore racing photographer/videographer Tim Sharkey has completed his video from the 2014 Offshore Powerboat Association National Championships in Solomons, Md. To promote the full-length video, sponsored by six OPA teams and “long overdue” by his own admission, Sharkey created a 30-second teaser for speedonthewater.com. The complete 23-minute video employs multiple camera angles from outside, inside and on the raceboats to capture the action, which includes a crash between the Miss Mary Mac and No Filter raceboats that, in Sharkey’s words, “will leave your head hurting.” (The crash can be viewed in the full video—click here to enjoy—at approximately 17 minutes and 30 seconds.)
Next up from Sharkey: a full-length video from the 2014 OPA World Championships. “I will begin editing and compiling that soon,” he said.
