Mystic Delivers M4200 Center Console No. 8 To Palm Beach Client

The Mystic M4200 luxury center console delivered today was hull No. 8 for the custom center console and high-performance catamarran builder (click image to enlarge).

A first-time Mystic Powerboats‘ client in Palm Beach, Fla., took delivery of an early Christmas present to himself today in the form of a 4200 luxury center console. Scott Sjogren of Shogren Performance Marine, which recently moved into its new headquarters—still getting their final touches—in McHenry, Ill., delivered the 42-footer and took it on sea trial with the new owner. (The client prefers to remain anonymous.)

According to Sjogren, today’s delivery is hull No. 8 for the model, which was introduced earlier this year as a prototype during the Miami International Boat Show, and that hull No. 13 is in lamination. The Palm Beach buyer’s M4200 model is powered by triple Mercury Racing 400R outboard engines and is “loaded” with features including night vision, radar and autopilot.

“He actually ordered the boat in Miami when he had nothing to look at but the prototypes—he definitely had a vision,” said Sjogren. “He’s a completely new customer to Mystic. He was a booth walk-in.

“I think Mystic exceeded his expectations,” he continued. “We took out the boat today in the ocean and it was five- and six-footers. The ocean was kicking today, but the boat ran great.”

Sjogren added that he’ll be delivering a new Mystic C4400 catamaran tomorrow in Fort Myers, Fla.
