Mystic Displaying All Models At Super Cat Fest

Between the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout and the concurrent Super Cat Fest events later this month in Central Missouri, Mystic Powerboats of DeLand, Fla., will have a considerable presence. In addition to returning as the defending Overall Top Gun Shootout champion with American Ethanol, a 51-foot Mystic catamaran owned by Don Onken and sponsored by Big Thunder Marine, the company will display all five models it offers at the Camden On The Lake Resort, the host venue for Super Cat Fest.

The display will include Habitual, a C4400 catamaran powered by Mercury Racing 1350 engines owned by Chad Collier, the Tennessee-based organizer of the Old Hickory Fun Run, Bar Crawl and Raft-Up. The first C3801 sport catamaran powered by Mercury Racing Verado 400R outboard engines, which is called Dirty Duck and owned by Lake of the Ozarks local Slug Hefner, also we will be displayed alongside Hefner’s C5000 catamaran of same name powered by Mercury Racing dual-calibration 1550/1350 engines, which he took delivery of shortly before last year’s Super Cat Fest.

On the center console side, Mystic will have an M4200 and a M3800 at the docks—the latter owned by Todd Flowers, another local at the lake.

“We treat Super Cat Fest like a boat show, so that’s why we’re going to have every model we make there,” said John Cosker, the founder and owner of Mystic. “I’m really looking forward to it.”

Mystic will have its C5000, C4400 and new-for-2018 C3801 catamarans, as well as its M3800 and M4200 center consoles, on display at Super Cat Fest later this month.
