Mystic On Display for First Time at Chicago Boat Show

When the Chicago Boat, RV and Strictly Sale Show opens today, visitors will see something never before displayed at a boat show in the Windy City—a model from Mystic Powerboats. Thanks to McHenry, Ill.-based Shogren Performance Marine, the DeLand, Fla., custom boat company’s global dealer, and customer Mike Hara, a Mystic M4200 luxury performance center console will grace the South Hall of the McCormick Place convention center.

Visitors to the Chicago Boat Show, which opens today and runs through Monday, will get a firsthand view of this Mystic Powerboats M4200 luxury performance center console.

“This is the first time in seven years we’ve taken a product to the Chicago show,” said Greg Weber of Shogren Performance Marine. “I’ve been going there for the past three years with a small product display, and we’ve been seeing a strong resurgence in the show. The pure high-performance stuff is gone, but the big boats—the cruisers and yachts—are back.”

“There are a lot of ‘snowbirds’ in the Midwest and we’re really excited to get people on the boat in the show,” he continued. “We have this gorgeous 42-foot center console to display. People in Florida have seen it and been following it, but no one in the Midwest has really had a chance to see it. We’re excited to get people on board.”
