Last night’s OffshoreOnly.com/Speedonthewater.com Key West Bash at the Sandbar Sports Grill was a smashing success.

Thanks to the generosity of several sponsors and the hundreds of boating enthusiasts who attended last night’s jam-packed OffshoreOnly.com/Speedonthewater.com Key West Bash at the Sandbar Sports Grill in Key West, Fla., the event ended up raising $10,400 for Samuel’s House, a local non-profit organization that provides housing and supportive services to the homeless in their time of need while assisting them in becoming self-sufficient.

All it took was a couple of generous donations from boaters who wished to remain anonymous, a successful raffle that included a variety of gift packs, signed offshore racing team jerseys, bottles of wine and more, and an auction that collected $5,450 thanks to a set of X-ACT outboard brackets donated by Shaun Torrente Racing, an entry into the 1000 Islands Charity Poker Run, a Wake Effects Offshore Racing Team experience, a pair of Lifeline sportvests and a ProMarine RC boat that is going to be custom painted by Boat Customs.

The OSO/SOTW Key West Bash would not have been possible without a charitable list of sponsors that includes the companies mentioned above as well as BioKleen, Bluave Marine Audio, Brand X Hi-Performance Marine, Florida Powerboat Club, Mercury Racing, Peacock Family Vineyard, Shoot 2 Thrill Pix and Teague Custom Marine.

OffshoreOnly.com and Speedonthewater.com also would like to thank those who attended the party, which raised almost three times as much as last year’s party, and let everyone know the discussions have already started on how the bash can be improved for 2018.
