Royal Purple Makes Open Sponsorship Call

High-performance synthetic lubricant manufacturer Royal Purple is looking for racing teams—including powerboat racing teams—to sponsor in 2012, according to a press release from the Porter, Texas, company. The company is accepting proposals from race teams and individuals, event organizers and even individuals involved with build-up projects.

Deadline for proposals is September 30. A downloadable sponsorship request form is available through a link the bottom at the page.

“Royal Purple’s primary interest in sponsorship is for research and development. Our sponsorship activities are executed to increase the company’s visibility, differentiate the company’s products from those of its competitors and establish mutually beneficial partnerships,” said Randy Fisher, the company’s director of consumer marketing. “Sponsorship proposals are evaluated to ensure that Royal Purple establishes sponsorship relationships that will mutually benefit Royal Purple and the requestor.”

The release did not specify the potential range of monetary value of the sponsorships.
