Scott Free Racing And Pacer Group Grow Partnership

Scott Free Racing, a Sarasota, Fla.-based team that competes in Super Boat International’s Superboat Vee class, and associate sponsor Pacer Group, a leading marine electrical supply company also headquartered in Sarasota, are expanding their partnership for 2018. Pacer Group has signed on as a sponsor for the team, which runs a 30-foot Extreme V-bottom, for 10 races during the season.

“We have had a longstanding relationship with Pacer Group and are very excited to expand our partnership,” said Stephen Kildahl, the vice president of Scott Free Racing Inc., who runs the Boatfloater.com-liveried 30-footer—Boatfloater.com is the team’s primary sponsor—with his father, Steve. “All of our current and past race boats have been rigged with Pacer Group products and we want to introduce and promote their brand to the high-performance industry.”

As part of the partnership, Pacer Group and Scott Free Racing will create “unique video and social content to further activate within the high-performance boating fan base,” according to a press release from the team.

“Pacer is working hard on developing its brand in the marketplace and Scott Free Racing will be an important part of that effort,” said John Swiatkowski, the president of Pacer Group. “We are very happy to sponsor the team and proud to call them friends. We wish the entire team the best in their upcoming season.”
