Scott Free Racing Partners With Spray Nine For 2019 APBA Offshore Championship Series

Scott Free Racing, the father-and-son offshore racing team that will be competing in the Super Vee Xtreme class in the American Power Boat Association Offshore Championship Series, announced the signing of a new partnership agreement with ITW Global Brands’ Spray Nine product line this week.

The deal will see Scott Free Racing demonstrate the use of the Spray Nine Marine products on the boat and team equipment this season.

“Spray Nine is very excited to be partnering with Scott Free Racing in 2019,” said Erika Marko, associate brand manager of ITW Global Brands. “Stephen and Steve Kildahl have proven themselves in the sport of offshore racing over the years. The Scott Free Racing team will be showcasing the power of Spray Nine Marine cleaners in their intended environment.”

Spray Nine’s traditional and marine cleaning products are used throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. The brand offers Marine Spray Nine and Marine Grez-Off that are specifically designed to clean, degrease and disinfect both above and below deck. Whether it’s mold and mildew, yellowing or grease on an engine, Marine Spray Nine (click image at right to enlarge) tackles the toughest jobs.

As part of the partnership, Spray Nine and the Scott Free Racing Team, which competes as the No. 2 Boatfloater.com in the team’s canopied 29-foot Extreme V-bottom, will be creating unique video and social content to further activate within the avid boater fan base.

Scott Free Racing plans to kick off the season May 17-19 in Cocoa Beach, Fla., for the first round of the APBA Offshore Championship series produced by the Offshore Powerboat Association and Powerboat P1 organizations.
