Sequence of the Week: Eliminator Pulls Cover Off 25 Speedster At Desert Storm Street Party

Alongside Colton Jones of Big Dawg Custom Marine, Eliminator Boats’ Northeast dealer located in Buffalo, N.Y., and Ontario Canada’s Niagara Falls, Jake Fraleigh and the team at Eliminator unveiled the Mira Loma, Calif., company’s all-new 25 Speedster earlier today during the Desert Storm Poker Run Street Party in Lake Havasu City, Ariz.

With employees, members of the media and longtime—and potential—customers on hand for this afternoon’s unveiling on McCulloch Boulevard under beautiful blue skies, Eliminator pulled the cover off the outboard-powered boat, which was sitting on the red-carpet-covered street. Speedonthewater.com photographer Jeff Helmkamp caught all of the hoopla as you can see in the slideshow below.

Fraleigh—the owner and president of the company that was purchased by the ownership group, Revline, LLC, last December—was eager to showcase the 25-foot cat, which is powered by a pair of Mercury Racing 300R engines. And Jones was beyond excited be a part of the presentation under the spotlight of Desert Storm.

“I’m speechless—the boat is beautiful inside and out,” Jones said. “I’m grateful to be out here with Jake and the team to show it off. The only thing better would be if the boat was ready to hit the water, but we’re lucky to even have it here. The guys at Eliminator have been working so hard these past few weeks to get it done for this event.”

As reported earlier this week, the 25 Speedster is the first of two new Speedster models the company is introducing this year—a 30-footer is currently in production.

It’s easy to see that the super-clean, 25-foot cat has some spectacular lines that borrow from the company’s other popular Speedster models. And its red and black interior, which featured Eliminator’s new logo in the headrests of the twin bucket seats up front and the four seats of the rear bench, looks flawless. As did the installation of the twin 300-hp engines and the swim step centered between them on the transom.
