Super Cat Fest Promoting Bikini Lives Matter Pool Tour

Along with several other things going on during Super Cat Fest—most notably the Friday evening bikini contest held at the event’s host location, Camden on the Lake Resort in Lake Ozark, Mo.—organizers are encouraging boaters who are in town for Super Cat Fest and the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout festivities to join them on the afternoon of Thursday, Aug. 22, for the Bikini Lives Matter Pool Tour.

And no, sorry ladies, Alvin Heathman will not be wearing a bikini. Fortunately his fellow organizer, Nikki Sorenson, and a plethora of her closest friends are going to be rocking their hottest bikinis and taking the fun to several pool bars on the lake, including Coconuts, Backwater Jacks and Shady Gators, which is the popular venue directly across from Camden on the Lake.

“We’re trying to get as many ladies as we can to come out to the pools with us and build the hype for Friday night’s bikini contest,” said Sorenson, who added that anyone interested in competing in the bikini contest should reach out to her or Heathman to get signed up. “After hanging out Shady Gators, the fun will continue at Camden with people hanging out at the docks, checking out the boats and listening to music. During Super Cat Fest this year, Camden is planning to roll out satellite bars on the docks.”

Of course, the mayor of Super Cat Fest himself—John Woodruff—is planning to be at the event again with his special landing pad dock and boat lift provided by Summerset Boat Lifts for his helicopter and 48-foot MTI named Windship.

With Friday’s Shootout poker run during the day and the Super Cat Fest bikini contest in the evening, Sorenson said the day is pretty wide open for participants to come and go as they please. Once again on Saturday, Super Cat Fest is going to have a giant TV at the pool broadcasting the top-speed shootout event hosted by Captain Ron’s Bar & Grill in Sunrise Beach. Later that evening, the Shootout’s Super Cat 4-Kids live auction takes place starting at 8:30 p.m. at Camden on the Lake. The auction benefits four local kids charities: Children’s Learning Center, Make-A-Wish Missouri, Kids’ Harbor and the Sharing & Caring Foundation.

Sorenson said anyone interested in getting a VIP table for Saturday’s Shootout auction dinner should contact her or Heathman as well on Facebook.
