Along with preparing a couple of high-performance catamarans for next week’s Desert Storm Poker Run, the Swoop Motorsports team has been busy prepping its new website designed for gearheads of all types. Between go-fast boats, sandrails, dirt bikes, hot rods, dragsters and more, the site, which went live this week, offers up a community-focused feel with photo galleries, a “dyno room” where engine builders can showcase their power plants, a closer look at the Swoop Motorsports team, an events calendar and a store that is loaded with all kinds of product from apparel, accessories and cleaning supplies to tie-downs, moto stands and custom-labeled tool boxes.

“Between preparing the Skater and getting the site and the store set up, it’s been a busy couple of months,” said Travis, adding that the team will have its 38-foot Skater Powerboats catamaran and its 32-foot DCB Performance Boats cat on display at the Street Party on Thursday along with its support trailer filled with apparel and 50 of the new Swoop Motorsports tool boxes. “We’re ready to big at Desert Storm. We’ve been testing the Dial 911 Skater and Summer is hoping to get in a little more testing on Tuesday before she runs it in the Shootout on Saturday.”

Travis said he’s already received many compliments and quite a few orders for the new Swoop Motorsports tool boxes, which come in several sizes from the Marine edition two-drawer tool box for your boat to the four- and eight-drawer versions for your rig or shop.

“The tool boxes are pretty cool because they can be customized for your business or your team in a variety of color options,” Travis said. “Along with the tool boxes we’re going to be selling shirts, hats, tumbler cups and the Swoop Sticks, which are cool poles that attach to your GoPro and extend out so you can capture action photos and videos, at the Street Party.

“The site is going to offer a little bit of everything for the motorsports industry,” Travis added. “Right now our focus is on the marine side because that’s what we’re concerned with at the moment and it’s what we know best.”

Travis said the online store is still in its infancy and will have much more available on it in the coming months, including even more customizable options such as carpet mats for your boat and other items for your garage.
