Gallery Of The Week: Poker Runners Storm Europe
For Stu and Jackie Jones of the Florida Powerboat Club, 2016 could go down as the most ambitious year in the club’s 20-plus-year history. In addition to their longstanding events such as the Miami Boat Show and Key West poker runs, they added a couple of more-exotic happenings—specifically a poker run to Havana, Cuba, and a European poker run tour by sports car—to their calendar.

Right now, Mr. and Mrs. Jones are traipsing through Europe via Porsche (read the story) with nine other couples, all members of the club, including Mark and Eileen Fischer of Boats Direct USA and Mike and Elena Ciasulli. The images in the slideshow above were taken at the lunch stop (a far cry from Gilbert’s in Key Largo, to be sure) in Austria on the first day of the tour.
As the cliché goes, it’s a tough job but somebody has to do it.
