Teague Custom Marine to Field Two Parker Enduro Entries

The October schedule is quite busy for the crew at Teague Custom Marine. This weekend, Bob Teague and the gang are racing the Team AMSOIL Skater in the Solomons, Md., Offshore Powerboat Association national and world championships. Two weekends after that they’ll be in Lake Havasu City, Ariz., for the Monster Bash Poker Run, and the following weekend they’ll be campaigning two entries in the legendary Parker Enduro, a 336-mile endurance race on the lower end of the Parker Strip in Parker, Ariz.

With testing and qualifying for the Enduro on Friday, Oct. 24 and racing starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, boats of all types and models will be racing 12-mile laps from the Bluewater Casino to the Pirates Den Restaurant and back.

The father-and-son team of Bob and John Teague will once again run the venerable, AMSOIL-sponsored GN-77, a 1982 20-foot Schiada. Joining the team this year is a new entry—the GN119, a 1974 Conquest that will be prepped and piloted by Teague employee and longtime racing friend Cory Ferguson.

The team is expecting an even better turnout this year in all divisions after the excellent inaugural effort last year by the new RiverDavesPlace.com production team. The efforts made in the last year to accommodate more potential race boats in the different divisions will ensure this race’s success in the future. Teague Custom Marine is sponsoring the event again.
