First Nor-Tech 400 Super Sport In For Upcoming Fort Myers Offshore Naples Hyatt Run

Nor-Tech Hi-Performance Boats generated plenty of buzz during the Miami International Boat Show in February with its new 400 Super Sport center console, but since then the elegant 40-footer has been out of the public spotlight. That will change this coming weekend during Fort Myers Offshore’s Naples Hyatt Fun Run, the first overnight trip for the nonprofit scholarship raising outfit in four years and its final event of the 2021/2022 season.

Based in Fort Myers, Fla., Nor-Tech is the event’s presenting sponsor. The company has a long history of support for the Fort Myers Offshore group.

“On behalf of the FMO board and our scholarship recipients, I can’t thank Nor-Tech enough for their continued support of the club and our scholarship program,” said Tim Hill, the president of Fort Myers Offshore. “After seeing the 400 Super Sport on display at the Miami Boat show, I can’t wait to see (Nor-Tech co-founder) Trond Schou running it to Naples this weekend.”

Fort Myers Offshore event fleets typically include a heavy Nor-Tech presence. But the immaculate 40-footer will still turn heads—and for a good cause.

“We are beyond proud and excited to debut the all new 400 Super Sport in its first official fun run right in our backyard while supporting the wonderful Fort Myers Offshore organization,” said Schou. “We couldn’t be happier to be the presenting sponsor for the event.

“Providing the opportunity for young men and women to seek higher education in colleges and technical schools is crucial for the growth of our local communities,” he continued. “We strongly believe in investing locally.”
