Sneak Peek: Outerlimits’ Red-Hot New SL 52 Hits The Water

How intense and vibrant can red be? Off the charts, at least if latest the Outerlimits Offshore Powerboats SL 52 is anything to go by. The boat’s vibrant red hue is absolutely smoldering.

Even more striking from an aerial perspective, this Outerlimits SL 52 hit the water for the first time last week. Photos by Halsey Fulton copyright Outerlimits Offshore Powerboats.

A pair of dual-calibration Mercury Racing 1350/1100 engines power the boat. According to Dan Kleitz, the sales manager for the Bristol, R.I., custom high-performance V-bottom and catamaran company, the capped, rubrail-free beauty has reached 135 mph.

“This one has an extended, seven-seat cockpit an Alcantara and ultra-leather interior and a custom rear deck,” said Kleitz, who ran the boat for its first test session and photos last week on Naragansett Bay. “It also has a full cabin.”

“It’s another totally custom—and classic—build from Outerlimits,” he added.

Red-hot from all angles, this 52-footer already is the latest stunner from Outerlimits.
