Sneak Peek: Outerlimits SC 37 Catamaran Wrapped And Ready For Miami

With the Miami International Boat Show just a week-and-a-half away, Outerlimits Offshore Powerboats has been putting the final touches on the models it will display during the February 16-20 event. As previously reported on speedonthewater.com, the Bristol, R.I., is bringing two new 37-foot outboard engine-powered catamarans to Miami, one for its Miami Beach Convention Center display and another for scheduled demo rides out of Grove Harbour Marina.

Coming to the Miami Beach Convention Center this month, this 37-foot catamaran was wrapped by AdPro Design in graphics created by Stephen Miles Design.

Owned by offshore racer and longtime Outerlimits client Vinnie Diorio of Wisconsin, the SC 37 for the convention center exhibit is ready to go. The cat was wrapped by AdPro Design, a Massachusetts-headquartered company owned by Brian Mihelis, a fellow Outerlimits client and a friend of Diorio.

Another one of Diorio’s friends, Stephen Miles of Stephen Miles Design in Owensboro, Ky., created the design for the graphics package. He also painted the cowlings for the cat’s Mercury Racing 450R outboard engines.

The graphics are color-matched to those of the Super Cat-class SV Racing catamaran, a 39-foot canopied Outerlimits Diorio co-owns with Canadian Simon Prevost.

Said Diorio, “The wrap Stephen designed and Brian executed is amazing. It turned out even better than I expected.”
