Wozencraft Insurance Agency Announces Customer Appreciation Event At Lake Of The Ozarks

Scheduled for Thursday, October 1, the day before the Offshore At The Ozarks-Cat Edition event taking place on Friday and Saturday on Missouri’s Lake of the Ozarks, Wozencraft Insurance Agency is hosting a Customer Appreciation Event from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Docknockers Original.

Situated at the 4 mile marker—a few miles up the lake from Camden on the Lake Resort, the host location for the offshore race sanctioned by the Offshore Powerboat Association and sponsored by Performance Boat Center—Docknockers offers excellent food, amazing ambiance and sunsets, and an abundant amount of dock space with plenty of room to side-tie, according to Wozencraft Insurance’s Devin Wozencraft.

“The past few years we’ve had a customer appreciation event at Fox’s on the Parker Strip in Arizona,” said Wozencraft, the owner of the Southern California agency, which has representatives across the country, including Scott Kottmann, who resides in St. Charles, Mo., owns a home at Lake of the Ozarks and is celebrating his one-year anniversary with the company this month. “We’ve had a great time in Parker because it’s always around the Parker Enduro, but we were looking to mix it up this year and it just so happens that Scott (Kottmann) is getting married at the lake the weekend before the race so a bunch of our team members will go to the wedding and stay out there for the week to visit with our customers and enjoy the offshore race.

“So we’re inviting our customers and future customers to join us at Docknockers—the longest running restaurant and bar on the water—for some food and camaraderie,” he added. “Tony, the owner of Docknockers , is reserving the whole dock space for Wozencraft clients. We’re expecting a good turnout. I’ve already heard from David Branton, who owns many boats we insure, as well as Chris Ervin, Adam Seraphine, Doug and Jill Apperson, and Don Doty and Carolann Kent, that they’re planning to attend. I can’t wait.”

Wozencraft, who is going to have his 30-foot Skater Powerboats at the event, added that customers don’t need to sign up—just show up. He’s working on shirts for the event and is going to raffle off a few speedonthewater.com merchandise gift certificates.
