Countdown To Miami: Cigarette ‘Tirranna’ Stars In CG Teaser Video

Still withholding a complete look at the real thing, Cigarette Racing Team released a high-resolution, computer-generated graphic video of the new Tirranna, a six-outboard-engine creation to debut at the Miami International Boat Show next week (Feb. 14-18). According to a press release from the Opa-Locka, Fla., high-performance V-bottom sportboat and center console builder, the Tirranna “embodies the next level of luxury and performance from Cigarette Racing Team and once again redefines the expectations of our customers and the industry.”

Even in computer-generated graphics form, the new Cigarette Tirranna is a stunner.

While the complete video—shown at right—runs a little more than three minutes, creating it took more than 2,500 hours of computer-rending time including 500 hours just to create the boat’s wake, according to Skip Braver, Cigarette’s owner and chief executive officer. The video also features 42 individual exterior and interior shots/scenes. It was among the Cigarette most ambitious video efforts to date—and one Braver and company are proud to release in advance of the upcoming Miami event at Miami Marine Stadium on Virginia Key.

“We hope that you enjoy a preview of our promotional video and we look forward to seeing you at the Miami International Boat Show,” the release stated. “You will find us at the Cigarette Racing Team-Tirranna Boathouse on Pier 2 at the Miami Marine Stadium.”
