Gallery: Scenes From The Lake Race Test Day

With the Lake Race in Central Missouri—the second stop in the six-race American Power Boat Association Offshore Championship Series being produced by the Offshore Powerboat Association and Powerboat P1—on tap tomorrow, most teams currently in town hit the Lake of the Ozarks for testing today. And Pete Boden, speedonthewater.com chief photographer, was on scene and hard at work.

Though a final roster for the event has not yet been released, an estimated 50 raceboats will be in town for the event. Local entries include Super Cat- and Super Stock-class teams from Performance Boat Center, as well as the Super Cat-class M-Con outfit and the CR Racing, Jackhammer, Wide Open Racing and Team Allen Lawn Care and Landscaping teams in the Super Stock class.

Tomorrow’s races will span several hours and will be covered extensively via Facebook Live and multiple television outlets. But in the meantime, we bring you this small gallery of images from today’s test session.
